I’ve been taking on instructional design consulting projects since 2019. My consulting work has included projects involving OEI Course Design Rubric reviews and alignment, Zoom tutoring program design, LMS Administration, and Instructional Design Support for Faculty.
Course Design
Across modalities, I can support faculty with course design efforts, including applying OEI Course Design Rubric standards, updating course content for accessibility.
Faculty Support
I have close to 10 years of experience supporting faculty in the work they do, in the form of just-in-time support, workshops, consultations, course review, and more.
Pedagogical Resources
Faculty often need resources to utilize on their own time. I can create instructional videos, asynchronous self-paced training courses, and checklists.
Project Management
I’ve managed projects with teams I’m a part of, and for faculty teams. These projects have included the creation of a district-wide advanced online teaching training, a Zoom proctoring system for student tutors, and course alignment with the OEI Course Design Rubric.
Training & Course Content Creation
I can create a variety of content in many media formats. Most often I’m asked to create asynchronous video guides, website content, Canvas course artifacts (course templates, asynchronous training courses, assessment and content templates), and fill-able PDF checklists.
Canvas LMS Administration
I have worked as the Canvas Administrator at multiple institutions for close to 10 years. I can support manual course creation, manual SIS uploads, creating and managing user permissions, applying feature options and installing outside apps.
